The Construction Education Center, Inc. (CEC) is a non-profit training organization located in Plainville, CT.  The CEC was approved by the Connecticut Commissioner of Higher Education to operate as a private occupational school on January 11, 2007.  This distinction signifies that the CEC is authorized to offer postsecondary training programs in Connecticut.  The CEC is also an accredited provider of the National Center for Construction Education and Research (NCCER). NCCER offers standardized curriculum for over 60 construction trades and has been a leader in construction training for over a decade. 

All courses provided by the CEC are taught by qualified trades people, professionals, and/or professors of construction management programs.  The CEC offers apprenticeship programs in the Carpentry, Electrical, HVAC, Plumbing, and Sheet Metal trades along with professional development courses.  The CEC is an approved provider of Continuing Education Unit courses by the State of Connecticut for Licensed Plumbers and Electricians.
