2016 Southington High School Construction Site Field Trip
Southington High School students interested in careers in construction went on a field trip recently to a job site at Hartford Hospital where one of CTABC's member contractors is working. They observed and discussed actual construction job site activity and safety procedures.
2012 APPRENTICE SKILLS COMPETITION
Construction Education Center, in partnership with the Associated Builders and Contractors of CT, well known for its outstanding events and support for the industry, was proud to unveil the Construction Pro Rodeo! This 2-day expo at the Durham Fairgrounds featured a skills competitions for apprentices as they test out their skills and expertise.

Training Celebration on
May 26, 2010 at the Greater Hartford Jaycees Boathouse in Hartford, CT. The event honored construction companies who
received the 2010 STEP awards from ABC National, completed apprentices, the CEC instructor recognition.

Field Trip for High School Students: December 16, 2009
The Construction Education Center, Southington High School and ABC member contractors have been working for the past year to introduce students to the career possibilities in construction.
