The Construction Education Center also schedules one or two day seminars on timely, industry relevant topics. Previous seminars have included information on how to increase project productivity, estimating, collections and HVAC information for General Contractors.

| EPA RRP - Renovation, Repair, Painting Course |
| As of April 22, 2010, renovations conducted for compensation must be performed by certified firms using Certified
Renovators and Lead Safety work practices. The Construction Education Center in partnership with Field Safety
Corporation is now offering an 8 hour Initial RRP Course. Once an individual has completed a Certified Renovator Course,
developed by an EPA-accredited training provider, they are then considered an EPA Certified Renovator. The Certified
Renovator status will allow you to do lead safe renovation, repair and painting work in pre-1978 housing and in childoccupied
facilities. |

• What the EPA and HUD regulations require of certified firms
and Certified Renovators
• How to work in a lead-safe manner
• How to determine if lead based paint affects work How to clean the work area & verify cleanliness
• How to begin work How to dispose of waste safely
